Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks (indoors), observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Smoke Bush Drive was quick to begin. Easy Street and Tinker Yap were slow to begin.
Tinker Yap and Tiggerlong Rheve collided soon after the start checking Tinker Yap. Riverdale Poppy and Smoke Bush Drive collided soon after the start. My Name's Bill raced wide on the first turn checking Al's Shout and Tiggerlong Rheve. Smoke Bush Drive lost ground on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Tinker Yap crossed to the outside in the home straight checking Al's Shout.
Smoke Bush Drive underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
