Blue Entourage and Sugar Boloney were slow to begin.
Blue Entourage and Sugar Boloney collided son after the start. Smokin' Rocket and Mayfair Ronnie collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Silver Power and Blue Entourage collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Sugar Boloney crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Max McCartin.
Silver Power underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Deadly Express - the winner of the event.
