High Jewel was quick to begin.  Early Limit and Zipping Utah collided soon after the start checking Zipping Utah.  Coalville King and Cybertruck collided approaching the first turn.  Early Limit galloped on My Shout on the first turn checking Early Limit.  Cybertruck and My Shout collided entering the home straight checking My Shout.

Early Limit underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left shin and left flexor tendon.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms. K. Gorman was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Coalville King pursuant to GAR 33.

Contrived was slow to begin.  Annabelle Rocks and My Mate Lucas collided soon after the start checking My Mate Lucas.  Annabelle Rocks and Steal Your Style collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Minoli Magic and Bonnie Goes Bang collided on the first turn.  Circus Dancer was checked off Shining Gem on the first turn severely checking Circus Dancer, Contrived and Shining Gem, Circus Dancer fell as a result.  My Mate Lucas and Shining Gem collided approaching the home turn.

Circus Dancer underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Bearing Gold was quick to begin.  Oda May was slow to begin.  Silver Lake and Bearing Gold collided approaching the first turn checking Bearing Gold.  Silver Lake visibly eased and turned its head outwards on the first turn and collided with White Flower severely checking both greyhounds. Gleeson was checked off Silver Lake on the first turn.  Gleeson and Crown Ella collided entering the home straight.  Bearing Gold and Silver Lake collided in the home straight.

Silver Lake underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs. L. Gough, the trainer of Silver Lake regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Silver Lake was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. Gough pleaded guilty to the charge, Silver Lake was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Alabama Shakes was slow to begin.  Write About Her was checked off Aston Fraiche approaching the first turn.  Maxwell Hammer and Aston Fraiche collided on the first turn checking Aston Fraiche and Voltage Spike.  Write About Her and Zipping Chew collided on the first turn.  Write About Her raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Hugo and Ivy Isobel collided approaching the first turn.  Mr. Neo was checked off Throw Caution on the first turn.  Hugo and Ivy Isobel collided on the first turn.  Emma Banjo and Hugo collided entering the home straight.

Ivy Isobel underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Blow Me Kisses was quick to begin.  Aussie Built and Mighty Marvin were slow to begin.  Aussie Built and Mighty Marvin collided approaching the first turn.  Second Pick crossed in on the first turn checking Spun Out.  Second Pick and Scorching Sun collided on the first turn.

Spun Out underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Baby and Show Queen collided approaching the first turn.  Fortune’s Fool and Aston Foxtrot collided on the first turn checking Aston Foxtrot and Lady Wynal.  Fortune’s Fool and Short Fine Leg collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Brilliant Loch and Baby collided on the first turn checking Brilliant Loch.  Baby and Aston Foxtrot collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Brilliant Loch underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Cunneen regarding the racing manners of Brilliant Loch on the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Cunneen, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

Elliott Ness was slow to begin.  Simon Says was checked off Soda Diamond approaching the first turn.  Soda Pee Wee and Two Phones collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Elliott Ness was checked off Soda Pee Wee on the first turn.  Two Phones and Soda Pee Wee collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Soda Pee Wee subsequently tailed off.  Two Phones crossed out on the home turn and checked off Star Night.

Soda Pee Wee underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of Race 10, a participant had fallen from a transport vehicle near the track. Due to the severity of the fall, paramedics were called to attend. After going back several timeslots and prioritising the participant's welfare, the remaining races (Races 11 & 12) were abandoned at 9.50pm.

Hot Diesel - Late scratching at 5.51pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. D. Plumridge was fined $100.
