The Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Jumping Jack checked off Descent soon after the start checking Bella Mia Rocks, Lead The Way and Kisber.  Pechey's Girl checked off Descent entering the front straight.  Lead The Way and Kisber collided approaching the second turn.  Lead The Way checked off Kisber on the second turn.  Jumping Jack checked off Descent approaching the fourth turn.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Pechey's Girl, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. Mr Paul Galea failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Pechey's Girl for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Moriah Bale was quick to begin.  Hardcore Vibes was slow to begin. 

Harley Ryder went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Weblec Wave, Flaming Rush, Quebec Bale and Zippy Volkswagon collided in the front straight checking Flaming Rush, Quebec Bale and Zippy Volkswagon.  Harley Ryder shifted out on the first turn and collided with Hardcore Vibes, severely checking Harley Ryder, Hardcore Vibes and Zippy Volkswagon.  Hardcore Vibes raced wide on the first and second turns.  Flaming Rush checked off Quebec Bale on the second turn.  Harley Ryder checked off Zippy Volkswagon entering the home straight.

Nike Apache and Just Like Mick collided soon after the start.  High End and Photo Man collided soon after the start.  Specialty checked off High End on the first turn.  High End and Photo Man collided on the second turn severely checking Photo Man.  Earthworm Jim and Photo Man collided entering the back straight.  Photo Man checked off Just Augusta in the back straight.  High End and Earthworm Jim collided approaching the winning post. Just Like Mick fell shortly after the winning post.

Just Like Mick was ordered to undergo a post-race veterinary examination however, trainer Mr Adrian Nuttall left the course prior to the examination being conducted. A veterinary certificate of fitness for Just Like Mick is required prior to it being permitted to nominate. Stewards will follow up with Mr Nuttall.

Music Event and Zipping Rambo collided soon after the start.  Nicholas Rose, Jepara and Usman Bale collided on the first turn.  Usman Bale checked off Jepara on the second turn.  Jepara raced wide in the back straight.  Shantelle Rose checked off Music Event approaching the fourth turn.  Zipping Rambo checked off Ridge entering the home straight. 

Coterie and Knight Zipper collided soon after the start.  Amnesty, Dream Wizard and Coterie collided approaching the second turn checking all three greyhounds.  Super Marli severely checked off Pirates Patch entering the back straight.  Super Marli checked off Knight Zipper approaching the third turn.

True Collinda was slow to begin.

Spring Driven and Dr. Ryker collided soon after the start.  Spring Driven and Arlington collided approaching the first turn.  Alfie Alligator checked off Tough Tears on the first turn checking Sharni's My Girl, Spring Driven and True Collinda, causing Spring Driven to fall.  True Collinda checked off Sharni's My Girl on the second turn.  Alfie Alligator and Sharni's My Girl collided in the back straight checking Sharni's My Girl.  Sharni's My Girl, Little Nellie and True Collinda collided on the third turn checking Little Nellie.  Tough Tears checked off Dr. Ryker on the home turn.  

Spring Driven underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and a left triangle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Chandler – Late scratching at 4.01pm when Mrs Karen Pitt reported the greyhound to have lameness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

She Can Excite was slow to begin.

Molly Blazer checked off Unathi Bale soon after the start.  Killashandra checked off Unathi Bale approaching the first turn checking Molly Blazer and She Can Excite.  Unathi Bale checked off Belle Ali entering the home straight. 

Mr Peter Schofield was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Just Rambling pursuant to GAR 33.
