Rio Margarita and Demon Flyer collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Jesse's Shout marred On The Tequila on the home turn, checking On The Tequila.

Jesse's Shout underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg monkey and right hindleg triangle muscle injuries.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr John Callus, the trainer of Jesse's Shout regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jesse's Shout was charged with marring.  Mr Callus pleaded guilty to the charge, Jesse's Shout was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tails Of Woe was quick to begin.  Last Shout, Buster Harley and Northern Era were slow to begin.

Buster Harley checked off the heels of Northern Era on the first turn, checking Buster Harley.  Last Shout checked off the heels of Moraine Holly on the first turn, checking Last Shout.  Just Shout and Moraine Holly collided on the second turn.  Buster Harley checked off the heels of Northern Era in the back straight, checking Buster Harley.  Buster Harley checked off the heels of Just Shout approaching the third turn; checking Buster Harley, Moraine Holly and Northern Era.  Moraine Holly and Northern Era collided on the home turn.

Disco Riot – Late scratching at 7:31 am when Mr Paul Mathieson reported the greyhound to have a foot injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zylon Bale and Gentleman Thief collided on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Distinguish - the winner of the event.

Correy Grenfell was issued with a warning regarding the use of a mobile phone in the kennel yard in accordance with GAR 44.

Attitude and Mt. View Emma collided approaching the first turn, checking Mt. View Emma.  Paper Plane raced wide in the home straight.

Weblec Gem and Mallee Swan collided soon after the start, checking Mallee Swan.  Our Ando and Tiggerlong Flyer collided on the first turn.  Mallee Swan and Vardan Bale collided on the first turn; both greyhounds to raced wide as a result.  Our Ando crossed to the rail on the third turn and collided with Vardan Bale; checking Vardan Bale.

Ishmy Ruby, Jarick Bale, Aston Adonis and Carry On Maxwell collided on the first turn; checking Ishmy Ruby and Aston Adonis; severely checking Jarick Bale and Carry On Maxwell.  Aston Adonis and Ishmy Ruby collided entering the front straight, checking Ishmy Ruby.  Jarick Bale checked off Tynslee Bale in the home straight.

Aces Are Trumps underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left foreleg paw.  A three day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Joffa's Liberty, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.

Unique Faith was quick to begin.

Unique Faith and Flying Hercules collided on the first turn.  Joffa's Liberty faltered approaching the second turn and lost ground.  Blazin' Jewel checked off Unique Faith on the second turn.

Joffa's Liberty underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Fulton regarding the racing manners of Joffa's Liberty approaching the second turn and again approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Fulton, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the second turn and again approaching the home turn.

Spring Bolt was slow to begin.

Yozo Bale, Carry On Angel, Fire And Fury and Keep It Blue collided on the first turn.  Spring Bolt and Fire And Fury collided approaching the second turn.  Carry On Angel clipped the heels of Keep It Blue on the second turn; causing Carry On Angel to fall.

Carry On Angel underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Nunniong Bear – The frequency of racing of was discussed with Mr Geoff Smith, his comments were noted.
