Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Nunniong Bear.
Heads Or Tails was slow to begin.
Heads Or Tails crossed to the outside soon after the start. Nunniong Bear and Man Cave collided at the 300m mark. Heads Or Tails and Golden Years collided at the 250m mark. Nunniong Bear and Man Cave collided at the 200m mark. Heads Or Tails faltered at the 200m mark and tailed off as a result. Nunniong Bear and Man Cave collided at the 100m mark. Ms. Lucky Leaves, Mumma's Bear and Golden Years collided at the 100m mark checking Ms Lucky Leaves and Golden Years.
Heads Or Tails underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a suspected fractured left hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Phillip Repici regarding the racing manners of Mumma's Bear approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr Repici, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track at the 200m mark and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
