Spencer Giblet was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Uriana Bale and Quest For More collided on the first turn checking Uriana Bale. Trivet checked off Uriana Bale entering the front straight. Uriana Bale and Trivet collided on the second turn checking Uriana Bale on the second turn checking Uriana Bale. Uriana Bale and Spencer Giblet collided approaching the fourth turn checking Spencer Giblet. Uriana Bale marred Trivet in the home straight. Quest For More raced ungenerously approaching the winning post and collided with Starlight Tyson.
Uriana Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Jordan McQuillen, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Uriana Bale was charged with marring. Ms. McQuillen pleaded guilty to the charge, Uriana Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Quest For More underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Brayden Klemke the representative regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Klemke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
