Bella Mia Rocks, What Could Be and Zambora Alani were quick to begin.  Sunstruck was slow to begin.

Jumping Jack and What Could Be collided soon after the start.  Jumping Jack checked off What Could Be soon after the start.  Sitizano Rocks and Trending River collided approaching the first turn.  What Could Be checked off Bella Mia Rocks on the first turn causing What Could Be and Zambora Alani to collide. Jumping Jack and What Could Be collided entering the front straight.  What Could Be and Zambora Alani collided in the front straight checking Sitizano Rocks.  Trending River and Sunstruck collided on the third turn checking Trending River. Orson Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to Gosford thoroughbred’s running behind schedule. 

Denise's Vision and Caroline were quick to begin.  Russian Sub and Valeska Bale were slow to begin.

Call Me Buster checked off Merlot approaching the first turn.  Denise's Vision and Merlot collided on the first turn checking Merlot.  Happy Ruby and Well Grounded collided on the first turn.  Valeska Bale and Call Me Buster collided on the first turn checking Call Me Buster, causing Call Me Buster and Merlot to collide checking Call Me Buster and severely checking Merlot.  Denise's Vision checked off Russian Sub in the back straight causing Denise's Vision to race wide.  Call Me Buster checked off Valeska Bale on the home turn.  

Merlot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Happy Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail to the left front foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Venus Light and Sandra's Sticker were quick to begin.

Sandra's Sticker and Kenny The Brute collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing Kenny The Brute to stumble and fall.  Bessie's Daisy and Bravery collided on the first turn.  Madalia Daisy checked off Bravery approaching the fourth turn.  Bessie's Daisy checked off Venus Light in the back straight.  

Kenny The Brute underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Rhone and Fabriola Acai were slow to begin.

Abelero Bale and It's My Party collided soon after the start.  Aston Rhone and Aragog collided approaching the first turn.  Fabriola Acai faltered approaching the first turn.  Aston Rhone checked off Zipping Jazz on the first turn causing Aston Rhone to race wide.  Abelero Bale and It's My Party collided on the first turn checking It's My Party which lost ground.  Aston Rhone and Zipping Jazz collided in the front straight.  Aragog, Abelero Bale and Aston Rhone collided on the fourth turn checking Aston Rhone.  

Fabriola Acai underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the first turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Koblenz was quick to begin. Spring Bolt and Dr. Xander collided soon after the start.  Zipping Rambo and Lakeview Cruiser collided soon after the start.  Carry On Angel and Dr. Xander collided approaching the first turn.  Carry On Angel checked off Sweet Petit on the first turn causing Dr. Xander and Lakeview Cruiser to collide.  Zipping Rambo checked off Dr. Xander on the first turn causing Zipping Rambo and Spring Bolt to collide.  Carry On Angel and Spring Bolt collided entering the back straight checking Carry On Angel.  Lakeview Cruiser and Carry On Angel collided on the third turn.  

Lakeview Cruiser underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the left hind leg.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

So Hazy and Arlington were quick to begin.

Got The Torque and Boombox Hammer collided soon after the start.  So Hazy, Arlington and Jarick Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Jarick Bale and Arlington, Arlington lost ground as a result.  Jarick Bale and Twisted Reality collided approaching the second turn checking Twisted Reality, causing Twisted Reality and Boombox Hammer to collide checking both greyhounds.  So Hazy and Jarick Bale collided in the back straight.

Rag Time Rove and Deep Dive collided soon after the start checking Even Keats.  Blue Stingray crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Molly Blazer checking both greyhounds.  Earthworm Jim and Rag Time Rove collided on the first turn.  Even Keats and Deep Dive collided on the second turn checking Deep Dive which raced wide and lost ground.  Molly Blazer and Even Keats collided in the back straight and again on the third turn checking Molly Blazer.
