Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Trending River was slow to begin.

Aqua Blaze and Gunnadoo Grace collided on the first turn.  Leaping Lydia and Trending River collided on the first turn, Leaping Lydia tailed off.

Leaping Lydia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Retro Rocket and Ambushed were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Legend crossed out soon after the start and collided with Ambushed and Wilson's Way.  Retro Rocket and Ambushed collided several times from approaching the first turn to approaching the second turn checking Retro Rocket and severely checking Ambushed.  Mepunga Legend checked off Lillico Nikki entering the back straight.  

Ambushed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right foreleg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

An error occured with semaphore board still displaying "All Clear" from the race 1 as the runners in race 2 passed the finish line. The judges cleared the semaphore board prior to displaying the correct placings and conferring with the stewards.

Western Blazer and Slick Sister collided soon after the start.  Weblec Gem and Basin Betty collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Basin Betty.  Weblec Gem and Slick Sister collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Basin Betty faltered on the second turn and took no further competitive part in the event.  Weblec Gem checked off Slick Sister entering the back straight.

Basin Betty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Western Blazer - winner of the event. 

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the second turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Quest For More and Taiepa were quick to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Marvel and Jye's Jet collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Marvel.  Taiepa, Jye's Jet and Weblec Mist collided on the first turn checking Jye's Jet and Weblec Mist.  Aston Marvel checked off Jye's Jet approaching the second turn.  Jye's Jet checked off Taiepa on the third turn checking Taiepa, Weblec Mist and Aston Marvel.  Jye's Jet, Taiepa and Weblec Mist approaching the home turn.

Taiepa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind leg.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Quest For More - winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Hold On.

Steinmark and Parzival collided on the first turn checking Parzival which collided with Brilliant Brian.  Steinmark and Parzival collided approaching the second turn.  My Dewana Penny checked off Brilliant Brian approaching the second turn. 

Grey Not Blue underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Self Belief was quick to begin.

Grey Not Blue and Speed Limit collided soon after the start checking Speed Limit.  Cornish Pixie crossed in soon after the start and collided with Grey Not Blue.  Self Belief, Cornish Pixie and Black Power collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Self Belief and Speed Limit collided approaching the winning post.

Impending was quick to begin.

Impending checked off Thylacine on the third turn. 

Rockstar Ruby and Ernie Prang collided on the first turn.  Rockstar Ruby checked off Roxy Quaker entering the front straight.  Ernie Prang and Blazer Glory collided in the back straight.  Rockstar Ruby and Bessie's Daisy collided approaching the third turn.  Ernie Prang and Blazer Glory collided approaching the home turn.  Rockstar Ruby checked off Ernie Prang approaching the home turn checking Bessie's Daisy.

A post-race sample was taken from Just Wins Boss - winner of the event. 

Tron was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Desert Flame and Leeky Lee collided approaching the second turn checking Leeky Lee.  Desert Flame checked off Maelynn Bale entering the home straight. 

Mirror Illusion and Carry On Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Mirror Illusion.  Plan Ahead and Mirror Illusion collided approaching the third turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Carry On Angel - winner of the event. 

Selynya Teddy, Yahoo Serious and Zylon Bale collided on the first turn checking Selynya Teddy which faltered and tailed off.  Yahoo Serious and Zylon Bale collided on the second turn and again on the fourth turn.  Zylon Bale cramped over the concluding stages.

Selynya Teddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Zylon Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke Ms C. Wilson regarding the performance of the greyhound over the concluding stages and acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Zylon Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
