Maximum Cook, Mega Heist and Blazin' Jewel collided soon after the start checking Maximum Cook and Blazin' Jewel. Mega Heist checked off Jimmy Maker on the first turn. Crumb Snags checked off Mega Heist on the first turn. Crumb Snags and Blazin' Jewel collided on the home turn.

Our Girl Bailee and Harrell Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Eric Garfield and Almapa Sunshine collided on the first turn checking Almapa Sunshine. Aston Spinel checked off Almapa Sunshine approaching the home turn. Aston Spinel and Tinker Count collided entering the home straight.

Almapa Sunshine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Bomber - New declared weight of 36.4kgs, last raced at 35.2kgs.

Next Teardrop and Neesa Giblet collided approaching the first turn. Blue Entourage and Ripper Reiko collided on the first turn. Next Teardrop shifted out and raced very wide approaching the home turn.
