Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from My Dewana Penny.
Darnum Dozer, Berkel Boy and Fly Havoc collided approaching the first turn. My Dewana Penny, Darnum Dozer and Fly Havoc collided on the first turn. Steel Magnolia raced wide on the first turn and collided with Berkel Boy. Darnum Dozer and Fly Havoc collided approaching the second turn. Fly Havoc and Darnum Dozer collided entering the home straight checking Darnum Dozer and Berkel Boy.
Fly Havoc underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right dew claw injury. No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Handler Mr Keith Lloyd regarding the racing manners of Fly Havoc entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Lloyd, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
