Celtic Gypsy was quick to begin.  Just Admit It, System Issues and Sweet Sorrow were slow to begin.  Just Admit It and Clever Trevor collided soon after the start.  Jebrynah Umida was checked off Celtic Gypsy on the first turn.  Clever Trevor was checked off Extremely on the first turn. Jebrynah Umida and Clever Trevor collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Celtic Gypsy was checked off Just Admit It in the home straight.  System Issues and Sweet Sorrow raced wide in the home straight.

Zipping Chandler - Late scratching at 11.03am when Ms. K. Pitt reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea  (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.  

Oda May and Zipping Utah were slow to begin.  Blazer Edition was checked off Queen Of Fire approaching the first turn.  Good Boy Colombo and Norwegian Wood collided approaching the first turn.  Oda May was checked off Blazer Edition on the first turn.  Oda May and Norwegian Wood collided approaching the home turn.

Miss Demonica was slow to begin.  Throw Caution and Ironclad collided approaching the first turn.

El Cazador was slow to begin.  Sneaky Mojo and Ivy Isobel collided on the first turn checking Ivy Isobel and severely checking Sneaky Mojo which subsequently tailed off.

Sneaky Mojo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a  fractured right hock and a lost nail on the left hind foot.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Gee Dalton, Fab Rocket and Rizzo collided soon after the start.  Gee Dalton and Fab Rocket collided approaching the first turn checking Gee Dalton.  Fab Rocket raced wide in the home straight.

Chilly Bin was slow to begin.  Blow Me Kisses and Hurricane Keely collided soon after the start. Blow Me Kisses was checked off Party Doll approaching the first turn.  Amlin Crystal clipped the heels of Chilly Bin approaching the home turn.

Typhoon Bolt and Jax Flash were slow to begin.  Mclinden and Smokin’ Ziggy collided approaching the first turn.  Dundee Joker and Cool Stone collided on the first turn.  Smokin’ Ziggy and Typhoon Bolt collided on the first turn checking Typhoon Bolt and Cool Stone.  Typhoon Bolt and Cool Stone collided on the home turn.

Roll Your Eyes went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Anubis Al and Livvy’s Princess collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Autumn Haze turned its head out on the first turn checking Eclipse Star.  Autumn Haze and Zipping Kingston  collided approaching the home turn.  Autumn Haze and Airly Cleaner collided on the home turn.  Autumn Haze, Eclipse Star and Roll Your Eyes raced wide in the home straight.

Autumn Haze underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a right front toe.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Cortese, the representative for Autumn Haze regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Autumn Haze was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Cortese pleaded guilty to the charge, Autumn Haze was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
