A pre-race sample was taken from Sonny Cabang.
Aston Artemis and Balmoral were slow to begin.
Balmoral crossed out soon after the start. Sonny Cabang and Boes Bambino collided at the 250m mark. Sonny Cabang marred Boes Bambino and Balmoral at the 150m, mark checking Boes Bambino, Balmoral, Hardaway Rocket and Lucky Blonde. Sonny Cabang, Boes Bambino and Balmoral collided at the 100m mark. Sonny Cabang and Balmoral collided at the 50m mark. Bruree Man crosed out at the 50m mark.
Stewards spoke to Gregory Berry, the Trainer of Sonny Cabang regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Sonny Cabang was charged with marring. Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Sonny Cabang was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
