Flywheel Dolly and Omega Sierra were slow to begin.
Lonesome Bee and Zheng collided soon after the start. Lonesome Bee and Omega Sierra collided approaching the first turn. Flywheel Dolly and Dr. Neeki collided on the first turn checking Flywheel Dolly and Lonesome Bee. Flywheel Dolly and Prize Diamond collided on the home turn checking Flywheel Dolly. Zheng and Judith collided in the home straight.
Judith underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind sesamoid injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to the representative Mr. P. Liapis regarding the racing manners of Judith on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Liapis, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.
