Dr. Slats and Elmo Rose collided on the first turn checking Elmo Rose. Dundee Reactor and Dr. Bronte collided on the home turn. Dundee Cotton and Blazing Norman collided entering the home straight. Blazing Norman and Dundee Reactor collided approaching the winning post.
Dr. Bronte underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind tarsal sprain (hock) injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
