Princess Lace underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race nine.  Princess Lace was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr David Kerr, the representative of Princess Lace regarding its performance on the first turn.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Princess Lace must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Inuka underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg haematoma.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Retro Rocket went up with the lids at box rise.  Retro Rocket checked off Back Net approaching the first turn.  My Buddy Benny, Saint Bluey and Back Net collided on the first turn; checking Saint Bluey and Back Net.  Tarlee and Wing Chun Girl collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.  Wing Chun Girl and Zing On raced wide on the first turn.  Back Net, Retro Rocket and Tarlee collided on the second turn; checking all three greyhounds.

Springvale Arge was quick to begin.

Aston Marlon underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion and spike wound injuries to the left hindleg.  A three day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Ms Heather Collins regarding the racing manners of Aston Marlon in the back straight.  After hearing evidence from Ms Collins, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight.

Beers On Brody was slow to begin.

Roxy Diva, Bubba Jo and Dashing Dante collided soon after the start.  Roxy Diva checked off Moon Sister on the first turn.  Dashing Dante and Phil's My Bro collided on the first turn.  Bubba Jo and Phil's My Bro collided approaching the home turn.  Lemonade Kid, Dashing Dante and Zumi's Swagger collided on the home turn; checking Lemonade Kid and Zumi's Swagger.

Zumi's Swagger – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

More Speed and Mac Rooster were slow to begin.
