Happy Franklin underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Brendan Bunworth regarding the racing manners of Happy Franklin in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Bunworth, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
