Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Caribbean Queen upon arrival at the course.
Steve's Uggboot and Winlock Mungo were quick to begin. Pumping Air and Lil Snooze were slow to begin.
Mt. View Nancy and Caribbean Queen collided soon after the start. King Crow and Mt. View Nancy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Steve's Uggboot faltered approaching the home turn; checking Mt. View Nancy, Caribbean Queen, King Crow and Pumping Air; Steve's Uggboot subsequently tailed off. Steve's Uggboot and Mt. View Nancy collided approaching the home turn.
Steve's Uggboot underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg metacarpal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
