Steward's Report
Whatever I Say was quick to begin. Aston Ulysses was slow to begin.
Flying Lantern underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind paw - no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative Mr P. Riley regarding the racing manners of Flying Lantern in the event. After hearing submissions from Mr Riley, viewing the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Jarick Bale - the winner of the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Whatever I Say - placed 2nd in the event.
