Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Sweet Vibes upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Winnindoo Wendy.
Sin City Angel and Mac Swan were quick to begin. Sweet Vibes, Bilali and Jemima Rocks were slow to begin.
Bilali, checked and lost significant ground approaching the second turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B. Pursell regarding the racing manners of Bilali approaching the second turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Pursell, viewing the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Jams Bolt, contacted the rail approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Mac Swan - the winner of the event.
