Steward's Report
Saint Prue was slow to begin.
Inga Sadie turned its head inwards and collided with Lektra April in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and monkey muscle injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs Mary Inguanti regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Inga Sadie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Inguanti pleaded guilty to the charge, Inga Sadie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Spartan Brave - the winner of the event.
