Nana Judy was quick to begin.

Big Brew, Waylin Bale and Red Mahogany collided soon after the start, causing Red Mahogany to fall. Big Brew galloped on the heels of Nana Judy on the first turn, checking Nana Judy.

Hook Along Pippa - New declared weight of 25.9kgs, last raced at 24.4kgs.

Cross Wind and Loch were slow to begin.

Hook Along Pippa, Mississippi Mud and Caps Lock On collided soon after the start, checking Hook Along Pippa. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. G. Kantzidis regarding the racing manners of Hook Along Pippa in the back straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Kantzidis, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action on this occassion.

Fugacious – Late scratching at 2.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. J Guy was fined $100.
