Party Doll was quick to begin. Movie Scene faltered approaching the first turn and pulled up. Scuba Steve was checked off Mr. Neat on the first turn. Scuba Steve was checked off Masters On Metro entering the home straight. Mr. Neat was checked off Invictus Louie in the home straight. Invictus Louie raced wide in the home straight.
Movie Scene underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. D. Archer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Movie Scene was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Archer pleaded guilty to the charge, Movie Scene was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
