Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Kuta Cowboy.
Gunnadoo Grace was quick to begin. Kuta Cowboy and Mr. Buddy Lee were slow to begin.
Gunnadoo Grace checked off Grey Not Blue on the first turn causing Gunnadoo Grace to lose ground checking Mr. Buddy Lee. Obsession Agogo and Kuta Cowboy collided on the first turn. Sin City Agogo pulled up in the back straight and took no further part in the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Gunnadoo Grace - the winner of the event.
Sin City Agogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4 no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr Scott Levett the trainer of Sin City Agogo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Sin City Agogo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Levett pleaded guilty to the charge, Sin City Agogo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
