Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Bella Dreamtime and Revved Up Sal collided soon after the start. Blazing Sal, Lily Jane and Sassy Sal collided soon after the start. Blazing Sal and Lily Jane collided soon after the start. Reiko Barty crossed to the outside at the 100m mark.

Magic Dust Bomb underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a thoraco lumbar injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Shania's Dream was quick to begin.

Pure Claire and Shania's Dream collided approaching the 250m mark checking Pure Claire. Memphis Rose faltered at the 150m mark and tailed off as a result.

Memphis Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a right calf injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Cool Kat– Late scratching at 19.31 when Mr. J. Wickham reported the greyhound to have thigh injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Carraragarmungee and Princess Giggles collided soon after the start. Wood Burn and Still Got Time collided soon after the start. Princess Giggles crossed to the inside at the 200m mark. Big Tango and Carraragarmungee collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the 100m mark. Fernando Mimma, Wood Burn and Still Got Time collided at the 75m mark and again at the 50m mark.

Big Tango underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Fernando Dusty and Montie Court were slow to begin.

Montie Court crossed to the outside soon after the start. You Nugget checked off Montie Court at the 250m mark. Ready For Sea and Speedy Blue collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark. Fernando Dusty and Speedy Blue collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Speedy Blue - placed 2nd in the event.

Chillout Cookie, Hoppy Bob and Wiggle It Bart collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. Hoppy Bob checked off On Pursuit at the 125m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Dash Home - the winner of the event.

Collaboration– Late scratching at 9.53am under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.

Another Vendetta and Don't Get Lippy collided soon after the start.

A post-race sample was taken from Rear View Mirror - the winner of the event.

Mr. Blurton and He's An Ace collided at the 200m mark. Bruree Town and He's An Ace collided apporaching the winning post.

Perfect Tresure was slow to begin.

Aston Rosa and Mt. View Audrey collided at the 250m mark. Aston Rosa checked off Mt. View Audrey at the 150m mark.

An out of competition sample was taken from Buck The Jockey on 23/6/2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Buck The Jockey and Done Time collided at the 250m mark and again at the 150m mark. Make A Pat and Bella Porscha collided at the 75m mark.

Just In Time and Tiger Time collided at the 250m mark.

Explosive Yaala– Late scratching at 19.31 when Mr. J. Wickham reported the greyhound to have toe injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blue Yaala– Late scratching at 19.32 when Mr. J. Wickham reported the greyhound to have toe split webbing (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Meeting Comments:

Stewards today opened and adjourned an Inquiry with licensed Trainer, Mr. Jason Wickham, into the circumstances leading into and surrounding the late withdrawals of all greyhounds engaged at Healesville today, namely Cool Kat (Race 3), Explosive Yaala (Race 12) and Blue Yaala (Race 12).  Stewards also directed Mr. Wickham present the three greyhounds at Geelong today (3/8/21) for examination by the on-course Veterinarian in accordance with GAR 23(3).

Addendum:  Stewards, on Wednesday, 4 August, 2021, concluded an inqiry with Mr. Jason Wickham following the three withdrawals of his greyhounds engaged at Healesville on Tuesday, 3 August, 2021.  In finalising their inquiries, Stewards took into consideration, Mr. Wickham's compliance under GAR 23(3) in which he presented Cool Kat, Explosive Yaala and Blue Yaala for veterinary examination at Geelong on 3 August, 2021 by GRV Chief Veterinary Officer - Dr. Steve Karamatic.  Stewards accepted the findings and report from Dr.Karamatic, however, did issue a warning to Mr. Wickham for failing to check his greyhounds prior to scratching deadline pursuant to GAR23(1)(a).
