All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Orson Avery was quick to begin.

Oddball Armo checked off Levitating on the first turn and collided with Texan Galore. Orson Avery visibly eased on the home turn and collided with Happy Dance checking both greyhounds, both greyhounds raced wide as a result of this incident. Love Long Time visibly eased on the home turn.

Waylin Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Orson Avery underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right stopper injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Clint Capuano regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Orson Avery was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Capuano pleaded guilty to the charge, Orson Avery was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Love Long Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Gregory Berry, the trainer of Love Long Time regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Love Long Time was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Love Long Time was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zurial Bale was slow to begin.

Butterfly Indee checked off Brecken Bale on the first turn severely checking Blaze Of Fire and Butterfly Indee. False Alarm and Shim Hope collided on the home turn checking False Alarm. Two Rowers turned its head outwards and marred Brecken Bale on the home turn. False Alarm and Shim Hope collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight.

False Alarm underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond Henness regarding the racing manners of False Alarm on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Henness, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Two Rowers underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr John Caulfield, the trainer of Two Rowers regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Two Rowers was charged with marring. Mr Caulfield pleaded guilty to the charge, Two Rowers was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stella's Memory was quick to begin.

Intolerable faltered and lost ground on the first turn.

Intolerable underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Cousin's Ace, Gem Victorem, Bag Secured, Tall Tales, Stones Throw and Shore Lanka collided on the first turn checking Gem Victorem, Bag Secured, Tall Tales and Stones Throw. Stones Throw and Granny Said So collided entering the back straight checking Granny Said So. Granny Said So checked off Bag Secured on the second turn.

See Me Willow and Bold Linda collided approaching the first turn checking See Me Willow. Bold Linda and Matilda Flyer collided on the home turn.

Deputy Sam was very slow to begin, 3 lengths.

Bella Rocks, Dasha Tullamore and Miss Daisy Hill collided entering the back straight checking Dasha Tullamore. Emerald Galore and Deputy Sam collided in the back straight checking Emerald Galore. Dasha Tullamore and Roxy Quaker collided on the second turn. Bella Rocks and Miss Daisy Hill collided on the home turn checking Bella Rocks. Dasha Tullamore galloped on the heels of Bella Rocks on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Kraken Candy and Royal Deed collided soon after the start checking Royal Deed. Big Woolly Zebra, Lala Hibiscus, Little Tiger and Fontella collided soon after the start checking Big Woolly Zebra, Lala Hibiscus and Little Tiger. Big Woolly Zebra, Lala Hibiscus, Little Tiger and Kraken Candy collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Fontella and Way Up North collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Lala Hibiscus and Kraken Candy collided on the second turn. Little Tiger checked off Way Up North on the second turn. Little Tiger and Kraken Candy collided on the home turn. Royal Deed raced wide in the home straight.

My Annabelle was quick to begin.

Aston Peso, Riptide Buddy, Valeska Bale and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Valeska Bale and Riptide Buddy. My Annabelle, Ben Major, Miss Molly May and Road To Cairns collided on the first turn checking My Annabelle, Ben Major, Miss Molly May, Valeska Bale and Aston Peso. Miracle Belle checked off Ben Major approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Damsel.

Palmistry, Ava's Prediction and Big Brew collided approaching the first turn checking Big Brew. Palmistry and Ava's Prediction collided on the first turn checking Palmistry. Ishmy Ruby and Wisdom collided on the first turn checking Wisdom. Ava's Prediction checked off Wisdom on the first turn. Palmistry checked off Ava's Prediction approaching the home turn. Big Brew galloped on the heels of Wisdom on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Palmistry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury, left back muscle injury and right deltiod injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Rock Opera, Meehan Lochie and Squeaky Mouse were quick to begin.

Meehan Lochie checked off Squeaky Mouse soon after the start. Aston Dijon and Squeaky Mouse collided on the first turn. Squeaky Mouse checked off Robber Prince on the home turn. Meehan Lochie and Robber Prince collided entering the home straight.

Tinker To Burn was slow to begin.

Broken Boots, Alana Rose, Evil Entry and Innocent Gem collided approaching the first turn. Broken Boots checked off Dark Krystal on the first turn checking Broken Boots, Dark Krystal, Loch, Alana Rose, Evil Entry and Innocent Gem. Evil Entry turned its head outwards aproaching the home turn and collided with Innocent Gem checking Innocent Gem. Evil Entry turned its head inwards towards Innocent Gem and they collided several times approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Mouthy Boof  - the winner of the event.

Evil Entry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the nose. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr John Caulfield, the representative of Evil Entry regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Evil Entry was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Caulfield pleaded guilty to the charge, Evil Entry was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
