Steward's Report
Uriana Bale and Pocket Titanium were quick to begin. Leo Giblet was slow to begin.
My Mate Eddie, Gimbal and Aston Wonder collided soon after the start checking Gimbal. Gimbal and Blazing Penny collided approaching the first turn. Pocket Titanium and Kotah collided approaching the home turn checking Pocket Titanium. Gimbal and Blazing Penny collided several times entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Following the event My Mate Eddie underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to collapsing in the catching pen. The greyhound was found to have had a seizure and to have a right front toe laceration and a left hind torn toenail. A 21 day stand down penalty was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 74, My Mate Eddie must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72 and receive a veterinary clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.
