A pre-race sample was taken from Emani Bale.
Emani Bale underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Orson Avery went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin (3L).
Spitfire Striker and Emani Bale collided soon after the start checking Emani Bale. Spitfire Striker and Hot Diamond collided on the first turn.
Hot Diamond underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right front foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
