Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
A pre-race sample was taken from Walking On Fire.
Joyous Venture, Vaughn, Bowler's Name and Walking On Fire were slow to begin.
Emma's Will faltered approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Joyous Venture and Emma's Will collided approaching the first turn checking Emma's Will. Way To Stand shifted in on the first turn causing Walking On Fire to clip the heels of Way To Stand. Way To Stand and Walking On Fire raced wide on the home turn and collided as a result.
Emma's Will underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Way To Stand underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
The semaphore board failed to display the correct race advertisement for this event.
