Wiggle It Bart, Deltora Quest and Blackzin Prince were slow to begin.

Deltora Quest and Blackzin Prince collided soon after the start. Okay Karen and Dundee Topaz collided soon after the start. Little Spriggy and Wiggle It Bart collided several times from soon after the start to the 300m mark. Feel The Rhythm visibly eased and turned its head to the inside at the 300m mark and collided with Audacious Flame. Little Spriggy, Wiggle It Bart, Okay Karen and Audacious Flame collided at the 300m mark and again approaching the 250m mark checking Okay Karen and Audacious Flame. Little Spriggy and Okay Karen collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Little Spriggy crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark checking Okay Karen. Wiggle It Bart checked off Dundee Topaz at the 50m mark.

Feel The Rhythm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 4. Feel The Rhythm was found to have an injury to the left shoulder.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms Claire Allen, regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 300m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Feel The Rhythm was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Allen pleaded guilty to the charge, Feel The Rhythm was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ready To Slide - Late scratching at 10.20am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature and vomiting. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Gypsy Play and Braemar Brianna collided soon after the start. Gusson and Nuclear Strike collided soon after the start. Pocket Titanium and Janet's Wish collided approaching the 250m mark checking Pocket Titanium. Janet's Wish and Gypsy Play collided approaching the 200m mark.

Janet's Wish underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Neil Baker regarding the racing manners of Janet's Wish soon after the start. After hearing evidence from Mr Baker, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.

Hands On Deck - New declared weight of 37.1kg, last raced at 38.5kg.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Little Blazer, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Hands On Deck was slow to begin. My Amelda Rose stumbled at box-rise and was slow to begin.

Victoria Mia checked off Sophie at the 250m mark checking Spanish Bullion. Little Blazer and Nitro Girl collided approaching the 150m mark. Nitro Girl checked off Little Blazer at the 100m mark and lost considerable ground.

Nitro Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Calven Russell, the Trainer of Nitro Girl regarding its performance at the 100m mark. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Calven Russell to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Nitro Girl in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Man Of Substance - Late scratching at 9.55am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Barry Marshall was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ready For Sea.

Spud was slow to begin.

Barunga Bullet and Dundee Zircon collided soon after the start checking Barunga Bullet, Dundee Zircon and Dutch Cookies. Ready For Sea and Audacious Leila collided at the 300m mark. Ready For Sea crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Audacious Leila.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward, Miss Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Cosmic Ox and Parabellum collided soon after the start. Parabellum and Noonbarra Jack collided at the 250m mark and again approaching the 200m mark. Rumour Is Fact crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Natural Cruiser and Dakar. Noonbarra Jack checked off Cosmic Ox approaching the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Catcher, Ms Kathleen Newport regarding the catching of Parabellum and Natural Cruiser following the running of this event. After hearing evidence from Ms Newport and taking into account her unblemished record since 2018 a warning was issued pursuant to GAR 86(o).

He's An Ace and Untested collided soon after the start checking He's An Ace. Love A Talk and Buck The Jockey collided at the 300m mark. Love A Talk and Buck The Jockey collided several times approaching the winning post.

Royal Burst and Fab Six collided soon after the start. American Missile checked off Royal Burst soon after the start and crossed to the outside. Fly By Them checked off Kaiden at the 250m mark. Kaiden and Fab Six collided at the 150m mark.

Misha Bale - New declared weight of 26.3kg, last raced at 28.1kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Blackpool Astro.

Blackpool Astro and Inter Santina collided soon after the start. Buddy Goes Bang checked off Eddie Lee at the 200m mark. Inter Santina and Eddie Lee collided approaching the winning post. Buddy Goes Bang faltered at the 150m mark and lost considerable ground.

It was noted that the muzzle of Inter Santina became dislodged during the running of the event.

Inter Santina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration below the left eye. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Buddy Goes Bang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hind thigh and left triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
