Aston Hackett was slow to begin.
Florentine Bale and My Dark Rose collided approaching the first turn. Aston Hackett and My Dark Rose collided approaching the first turn checking My Dark Rose, which fell as a result. Violation and Aston Rocket collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Why Not Hutch raced wide in the home straight.
My Dark Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a neck fracture. My Dark Rose was humanely euthanased.
No Head-On vision was available for this race.
