A pre-race sample was taken from Caribbean Queen.
Tinker To Burn was slow to begin.
Caribbean Queen and Grand Warrior collided soon after the start. Caribbean Queen galloped on the heels of Rocky Strike on the first turn, checking Rocky Strike. Terka Wye and Danny Creek collided on the home turn. Terka Wye and Grand Warrior collided approaching the winning post.
Tinker To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Hardy, the handler of Tinker To Burn regarding the greyhounds performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Hardy to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Tinker To Burn in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
