Twilight Connie – Late scratching at 11:13 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Rhymes Valley and Loco Luca were slow to begin.
Sylvia's Delight and Jaimandy Roy collided on the first turn checking Sylvia's Delight. Rhymes Valley, Super Switch, Gotta Jump Start and Loco Luca collided on the first turn. Rhymes Valley and Right Above It collided on the home turn. Super Switch raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.
Loco Luca underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have an abrasion and laceration to the left fore limb. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
