Steward's Report
Three Kisses and Willene Bale collided soon after the start. Hurricane Ridge, Global Jewel and Willene collided approaching the first turn. Scott Or Not checked off Three Kisses on the first turn. Spanish Paso galloped on the heels of St. Marys Panda on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Spanish Paso and St. Marys Panda collided entering the home straight. Got Me checked off Scott Or Not in the home straight. Willene Bale turned its head inwards in the home straight. Got Me and Willene Bale collided in the home straight.
Willene Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Shaun Coulson regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Willene Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Willene Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
