An inquiry was commenced into an alleged incident at the boxes prior to the start of this event. Evidence was taken from the handler of You Fugitive Ms Adele Powell, Steward Mr John Featherstonhaugh and Starter Mr Graham Glass. The inquiry was adjourned to further consider the evidence.
After considering all available evidence Stewards took the matter no further, as they could not be satified that the conduct of the persons involved warranted the laying of any charge.
