Steward's Report
Eight Ball – Late scratching at 4.25 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute to hold for Toowoomba gallops.
Chop Scotch and Hear The Drum collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Ruby Girl and Pride Into Power collided soon after the start. Major Minter, Chop Scotch, Hear The Drum and Aunt Finnie collided approaching the first turn, checking Chop Scotch, Hear The Drum and Aunt Finnie. Chop Scotch and Aunt Finnie collided on the first turn, checking Aunt Finnie. Hear The Drum checked off Chop Scotch on the first turn.
The semaphore board inadvertently displayed Race 10 for this event. This was rectified to read Race 9.
