Rip On Bye and Weblec Nova collided soon after the start.  Rip On Bye, Weblec Nova and Unique Faith collided on the first turn, checking Rip On Bye and Unique Faith.  Five Putt Cal checked off Pure Mania on the first turn, checking Still In Love.  Rip on Bye and Weblec Nova collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Riip On Bye checked off Weblec Nova on the home turn, checking Still In Love.  Al's Keeper checked off Rip On Bye entering the home straight, checking Five Putt Cal. 

Maybe Wrong and Limburg Blaze were slow to begin. 

False Alarm and Limburg Argon collided soon after the start.  Limburg Argon and Maybe Wrong collided approaching the first turn, checking both greythounds. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Chilly Bin with Mrs. A Gibbons and noted their comments.

Chilly Bin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left rear foot spike wound. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Weblec Blazer was quick to begin.  Tinker Warrior was slow to begin. 

Ricky Racoon and Miss Daisy Hill collided soon after the start. Tinker Warrior contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Madam Maximus and Weblec Blazer collided on the first turn, checking Weblec Blazer.  Pacific Lass checked off Ricky Racoon on the first turn.  Joffa's Liberty checked off Weblec Warrior on the home turn, checking Venomous Yaala. 

Tinker Warrior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hind back muscle injuty. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Missile - New declared weight of 34.4kg, last raced ar 35.7kg.

Suntory Lass and Hazey Boy were quick to begin.  Mepunga Missile was slow to begin. 

Saint Mac, Unathi Bale and Equalizer collided soon after the start, checking Unathi Bale.  Unathi Bale checked off Mepunga Missile on the first turn.  Hazey Boy checked off Equalizer in the home straight. 

Way To Important – Late scratching at 4.17 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. D. Faulknall was fined $100.

Rothwell Prince checked off Ching Ching soon after the start, checking On The Air and High Plain.  Rothwell Prince and On The Air collided approaching the first turn.  Rothwell Prince checked off Bump's Nugget approaching the home turn.  Aussie Built checked off Bump's Nugget entering the home straight, checking Rothwell Prince.  Aussie Built and Rothwell Prince collided in the home straight.

Russian Sub and Twin Pick were slow to begin. 

Fairytale Nacho and Dash Of Reyne collided on the first turn, checking Dash Of Reyne. Keep It Blue and Russian Sub collided on the first turn, checking Russian Sub.  Dash Of Reyne checked off Fairytale Nacho on the second turn.  Twin Pick raced wide on the home turn. 

Eight Ball – Late scratching at 4.25 pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right wrist injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute to hold for Toowoomba gallops.

The semaphore board inadvertently displayed Race 10 for this event. This was rectified to read Race 9.
