Elswyk Sophie was quick to begin.
Potente Rocks, Potato Sunrise and Man Cave collided approaching the first turn checking Potato Sunrise and Potente Rocks. Zero Connection and Man Cave collided on the first turn. Potato Sunrise and Zero Connection collided on the first turn. Bomber's Smokey checked off Black Power on the home turn. Potato Sunrise raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr Tim Sando, the handler of Potato Sunrise, and reminded him of his responsibilities when boxing a greyhound, pursuant to GAR 51(9).
Mr Peter Dedes, the trainer of Have A Summer was issued a warning in that he made contact with the rear of the boxes after boxing the greyhound pursuant to GAR 51(10)(c).
