Black Honey was slow to begin.
Tarra Rocket and Crouching Tiger collided at the 250m mark. Instinctual and Go Emmy Go collided several times from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.
Instinctual underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Brendan De Rozario, regarding the racing manners of Instinctual approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr De Rozario, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
