Alabama Cruise was slow to begin. Kid Tullamore, Crook Me Gently and Tat Panda collided approaching the first turn. Crook Me Gently and Tat Panda collided on the first turn. Kid Tullamore clipped the heels of Ishmy Ruby approaching the home turn. Dark Pearl and Tat Panda collided on the home turn and entering the home straight. Crook Me Gently and Dark Pearl collided in the home straight.
Ishmy Ruby underwent a post-race veterinary examination after it fell after the finish line. Ishmy Ruby was found to have a left deltoid injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
