Walk On Bye, Madame Pookie and All Inn Mia collided approaching the first turn checking Madame Pookie and All Inn Mia. Six And Out and Jaimandy Roy collided on the first turn checking Six And Out. All Inn Mia, Madame Pookie and Jaimandy Roy collided entering the home straight checking All Inn Mia.
Walk On Bye underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a right dew claw injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Supplementary Report
At Shepparton on 31/3/21, following the running of Race 11, Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry into an alleged verbal altercation between trainers Mr Brent Merton and Ms Adele Powell. Mr Merton and Ms Powell were today questined further in relation to this matter. Stewards determined that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a charge against either person, however both were reminded of their responsibilities in regard to their conduct as licensed persons.
