All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks at all times that in turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race day functions and operations. 

Zipping Gucci was slow to begin.

Aston Artemis, Frothy's Jett and Lizzie's Glory collided soon after the start checking Frothy's Jett and Lizzie's Glory.  Aston Kayee, Aston Wonder and Bowler's Name collided on the first turn.  Lizzie's Glory and Bowler's Name collided on the first turn causing Lizzie's Glory to race wide.  Zipping Gucci faltered approaching the home turn and pulled up.  Frothy's Jett and Bowler's Name collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Zipping Gucci underwent a post-race veterinary examination and and was found to have no apparent injury.  Trainer, Ms H. Collins declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards spoke to Ms Collins, trainer of Zipping Gucci regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Zipping Gucci was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Gucci was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Irongate was quick to begin.  Lightning Leo and Zipping Chew were slow to begin.

Saturation, Zipping Chew and Phil's My Bro collided soon after the start checking Saturation.  Lightning Leo and Junket Jarrod collided approaching the first turn checking Junket Jarrod.  Jaxson Mino, Aston Dimple, Lightning Leo and Phil's My Bro collided on the first turn checking Aston Dimple, Lightning Leo and Phil's My Bro. Zipping Chew, Junket Jarrod and Saturation collided on the first turn checking Zipping Chew and Saturation.  Aston Dimple and Lightning Leo collided on the home turn.

Northern Era and Blazer Glory were slow to begin.

Bell Burner and Ring A Ranger collided soon after the start.  Bell Burner, Zambora Alani, Crowdza Blest and Blazer Glory collided on the first turn checking Weblec Ranger and Crowdza Blest.  Mepunga Stellar checked off Crowdza Blest approaching the second turn.  Northern Era checked off Crowdza Blest on the third turn.  Mepunga Stellar checked off Crowdza Blest on the home turn.

Seen Better and Heidi were quick to begin.  Nine Wine Wine was slow to begin.

Bus Driver and Bean's Multi collided approaching the first turn.  Nine Wine Wine galloped on the heels of Bus Driver on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Heidi - the winner of the event.

No Way Nellie contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Cayden Bale checked off Zipping Jazz on the first turn.  Cayden Bale and Zipping Loxley collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Defensible checked off Zheng on the third turn.  Lucy's Villa and Defensible collided in the home straight.  Zipping Jazz and Defensible collided approaching the winning post.

No Way Nellie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Smooth Talker was slow to begin.

Kinson Bale and Sharni's My Girl collided on the first turn checking Sharni's My Girl.  Knicks Bale and Kuro Kismet collided on the first turn checking Knicks Bale.  Kuro Kismet and Sharni's My Girl collided approaching the second turn checking Sharni's My Girl and Kutcher's Ruslie.  Mow A Meadow and Sharni's My Girl collided on the second turn checking Mow A Meadow and Ripplebrook Glen.  Mow A Meadow checked off Sharni’s My Girl in the back straight checking Ripplebrook Glen.  Knicks Bale and Kuro Kismet collided on the third turn.  

Kuro Kismet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind calf.  No stand down period was imposed.

Toby Time - New declared weight of 33.5kgs, last raced at 32.1kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Monaleen Flo.

Alumni was quick to begin.

Toby Time checked off Major Minter on the first turn causing Toby Time to stumble as a result.  Keiki, Monaleen Flo, Cherokee Cat and Kraken Jacki collided on the first turn checking Cherokee Cat, Kraken Jacki and Toby Time.

Hill Top Jack and Persian Goddess collided soon after the start checking Persian Goddess.  Xavien Bale and Immunity collided approaching the first turn checking Immunity causing Immunity to lose ground and checking Plan Ahead.  Nikoli Bale and Xavien Bale collided approaching the second turn and again on the third turn checking Xavien Bale and severely checking Nikoli Bale, Immunity and Plan Ahead.  Plan Ahead and Persian Goddess collided approaching the home turn checking Persian Goddess.  Immunity and Usman Bale collided on the home turn checking Immunity.

Post-race samples were taken from Mepunga Reject (1st), Hill Top Jack (2nd) and Xavien Bale (3rd).

Bell Park Dragon and Mac Rooster collided on the first turn checking Mac Rooster.  Magic Mark galloped on the heels of Mac Rooster checking Magic Mark.  Bell Park Dragon checked off Mala Ruby approaching the home turn.  Gracie's Girl and Bell Park Dragon collided on the home turn.  Gracie's Girl and Aston Dynasty collided in the home straight.

Johnny Be Good and Brother Griff collided on the first turn checking Brother Griff.  Quillan Bale and Free Kick Hawks collided on the first turn checking Free Kick Hawks.  Johnny Be Good and Quillan Bale collided approaching the home turn causing Quillan Bale to race wide.  Amazing Roy, Violation and Brother Griff collided on the home turn.  Johnny Be Good and Violation collided in the home straight checking Violation.  Quillan Bale crossed in on the home straight.  

Free Kick Hawks underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot.   A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
