Steward's Report
Soft Ballad and Senorita Amy were slow to begin. Stylish Bullett checked off Dr. Taylor on the first turn severely checking Jack's King and Micko Fozz which fell as a result. Soft Ballad and Jack's King collided on the home turn. Jack's King pulled up in the home straight.
Jack's King was vetted and re-vetted following the race 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left tricep injury and left back muscle injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Quinn the trainer of the greyhound Jack's King. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Jack's King with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days Bendigo and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Micko Fozz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
