Hasty Transit crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Orara George, Oscar Shiraz, Prancing Lad and Dream Earner and causing Bet Bet Betty to fall. Miss Woorndoo checked off Hasty Transit approaching the second turn. Miss Woorndoo and Dream Earner collided on the second turn checking Dream Earner. Oscar Shiraz checked off Hasty Transit approaching the home turn.
Bet Bet Betty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder and a torn left hind toe nail. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
