Steward's Report
Two Pars was quick to begin. Zipping Chandler and Aston Legend collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Legend which stumbled and lost ground as a result checking Speed Limit and Jeza You Beauty. Two Pars visibly eased in the home straight.
Aston Legend underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Two Pars underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle and right chest muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. D. McKenzie regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Two Pars was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. McKenzie pleaded not guilty to the charge, Two Pars was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
