Steward's Report
Autumn Haze and Jenny Kay Rose collided soon after the start. Jenny Kay Rose and Paua Of Oscar collided approaching the first turn. Leo Rose and Autumn Haze collided entering the home straight. Autumn Haze turned its head out in the home straight and collided with Jenny Kay Rose. Prime Time raced wide in the home straight.
Autumn Haze underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. D. Cortese regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Autumn Haze was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cortese pleaded not guilty to the charge, Autumn Haze was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post race sample was taken from Paua Of Oscar - winner of the event.
