All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Battlers Three, Lucky Storm and Spongebob were slow to begin. Sunnyside Pride, Potato Sunrise and Phaenon Bale collided son after the start checking Potato Sunrise and Phaenon Bale.  Battlers Three, Lucky Storm and Spongebob collided approaching the first turn.  Hurricane Sue checked off Lunar Halo on the first turn.  Potato Sunrise and Lunar Halo collided approaching the home turn. Lunar Halo and Battlers three collided on the home turn. 

Blazin' Lola was quick to begin.  Knocka Out and Rag Time Joey were slow to begin.

Red Nangana, Hurricane Star and Elswyk Sophie collided soon after the start checking Hurricane Star.  Heaven's Tower, Knocka Out, Red Nangana and Huuricane Star collided on the first turn checking Knocka Out, Red Nangana and severely checking Hurricane Star which stumbled and lost ground.  Heaven's Tower and Knocka Out collided on the home turn.

Hurricane Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Blazin' Lola - winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Stanley Boy.

Stanley Boy was quick to begin.

Horace Bale and Potente Rocks collided soon after the start.  Bit Of Pepper, Somerton Osprey, Horace Bale, Potene Rocks and Zereva collided on the first turn checking Somerton Osprey, Horace Bale and Zereva.  Flossy Jo, Bit Of Pepper and Malizia collided approaching the home turn.  Bit Of Pepper checked off Malizia on the home turn.  Flossy Jo, Potente Rocks and Zereva collided approaching the winning post.  

Empire Lad was quick to begin.

Henryk Bale, Jimmy Maker and Bomber's Train collided soon after the start.  Henryk Bale and Bomber's Train collided on the first turn.  Zambora Tara and Jimmy Maker collided on the first turn.  Canivore checked off Jimmy Maker approaching the home turn.  Henryk Bale and Jimmy Maker collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Jimmy Maker and Bomber's Train collided approaching the winning post.

She's A Charm was slow to begin.

Fly By Them and Shifty collided on the first turn.  Shifty and Aston Rum collided on the home turn.  

Banjo Plato was slow to begin.

Tui faltered approaching the first turn, lost ground and subsequently tailed off.  Shanlyn Spot checked off Banjo Plato on the first turn.

Tui underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Crouching Tiger was slow to begin.

Busy Izzy and Midnight Breeze collided on the first turn checking Busy Izzy.  Our Girl Daisy, Shock Value and Big Bella collided on the first turn checking Our Girl Daisy and Big Bella.  Busy Izzy, Our Girl Daisy and Big Bella collide approaching the home turn.  

Cooped Up and Metro Boomin' were slow to begin.

Marshall Dillon, Swedish Duchess, Andy Time, Bomber's Queen and Sweet Chanelle collided soon after the start.  Cooped Up galloped on Lethal Hawk approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Marshall Dillon, Swedish Duchess, Metro Boomin' and Bomber's Queen collided on the first turn.  Swedish Duchess raced wide in the home straight.

Lucero, About Bob, Rag Time Rove and Bomber's Smokey collided soon after the start checking Lucero.  Walk With Grace and About Bob collided on the first turn checking Walk With Grace.  Bomber's Smokey checked off Walk With Grace approaching the home turn.  Elswyk Storm raced wide in the home straight. 

Elswyk Suzie and Indy's Happy were quick to begin.

Elswyk Suzie checked off Victory Raja on the first turn.  Elswyk Suzie, Black Power and Hurricane Miami collided approaching the home turn checking Black Power and Hurricane Miami.

Mt. View Jester and Captain Turbot were slow to begin.

Galiena Bale, Captain Goldie and Captain Turbot collided approaching the home turn checking Galiena Bale and severely checking Captain Goldie which stumbled as a result.  Hurricane Miss and Galiena Bale collided on the home turn.  Bindi Girl and Captain Turbot collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Linsday Fulford regarding the racing manners of Captain Turbot on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Fulford, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
