Steward's Report
Three Kisses - Late scratching at 10:47 by order of Stewards.
All Inn Olivia was slow to begin. Patons Road, Chuck Attack and Legend Jet collided soon after the start. Chuck Attack and Legend Jet collided on the first turn. All Inn Olivia and Patons Road collided on the first turn. Parasite, Patons Road and All Inn Olivia collided approaching the home turn checking Patons Road which stumbled. Patons Road and collided with Parasite on the home turn checking All In Olivia and Parasite. Patons Road, All Inn Olivia and Parasite collided entering the home straight severely checking all three greyhounds. Parasite raced wide in the home straight.
Patons Road underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw and sand toe on right front paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Peter Bartlett regarding the racing manners of Patons Road on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Bartlett, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Legend Jet - winner of the event.
