All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Stewards extended kennelling to close at 6.45pm to allow several Trainers to arrive on-course following a traffic delay in Koo Wee Rup due to a major road accident resulting in traffic being diverted by Victoria Police. As a result, this meeting was put back one race as follows:  R1 (7:11pm); R2 (7:31pm); R3 (7:51pm); R4 (8:11pm); R5 (8:33pm); R6 (8:50pm); R7 (9:11pm); R8 (9:27pm); R9 (9:48pm); R10 (10:12pm); R11 (10:30pm); R12 (10:43pm).

Mt. View Pearl was slow to begin.

Reality Kayla and Mt. View Pearl collided approaching the first turn causing Reality Kayla to falter and tail the field.  Blazing Pop checked off Charm Offensive approaching the first turn.  Charm Offensive checked off Saturation on the first turn.  Southern Bell raced wide on the home turn.  Blazing Pop checked off Charm Offensive on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Mt. View Pearl checked off Blazing Pop approaching the winning post. 

Reality Kayla underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Ultimate Mayhem upon arrival at the course.

Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. N. Wakefield, regarding the withdrawal of Tsar Bell in this Event.  Mr. Wakefield advised that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left elbow.  Stewards noted Mr. Wakefield's explanation.  The normal penalties were applied.  

Mayhem Moment was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Big Bash Jess checked off Zander soon after the start.  Mayhem Moment and Big Bash Jess collided approaching the first turn checking Big Bash Jess.  Zander checked off Our Frankie on the home turn.  Our Frankie, Zander and Ultimate Mayhem collided approaching the winning post.

Double Dipping was slow to begin.

Mow A Meadow and Dundee Buzz collided soon after the start.  Going Alright and Dundee Topaz collided soon after the start checking Dundee Topaz.  Dundee Topaz checked off Double Dipping in the front straight.  Dundee Buzz checked off Mow A Meadow in the front straight.  Mow A Meadow and Double Dipping collided approaching the first turn. causing Double Dipping to race wide.  Mow A Meadow checked off Dundee Topaz on the first turn.  Going Alright and Breakaway Benji collided on the first turn.  Dundee Buzz checked off Double Dipping entering the back straight.  Mow A Meadow and Double Dipping collided on the home turn.  Dundee Topaz checked off Double Dipping entering the home straight. Going Alright raced erratically approaching the winning post checking Mow A Meadow.

Going Alright underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 5. No apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Steven Healey regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Healey, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Freda Rocks was quick to begin.  Galloping Run was slow to begin.

All To Mac and Mr. Football collided approaching the first turn.  All To Mac checked off Dundee Zircon on the first turn.  All To Mac and Mr. Football collided on the second turn checking Mr. Football.  Mr. Football checked off Galloping Run approaching the home turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Freda Rocks - winner of the event. 

Kalbarri, Dominus and Trash collided soon after the start.  Wee Gem and Rusty Model collided approaching the first turn checking Wee Gem and Kalbarri.  Trash and Rio Dixie collided approaching the first turn.  Kalbarri checked off Rusty Model in the home straight.  

Heidi was quick to begin.

Cute Indeed and Callum Ari collided soon after the start severely checking Callum Ari which lost ground as a result.  Allie Novak raced wide on the home turn.  Emma Banjo checked off Allie Novak in the home straight.  Destini Trucker and Cute Indeed collided approaching the winning post.

Allie Novak underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Layback Cruiser was quick to begin.

Moody Girl and Mighty Tracey collided approaching the first turn checking Mighty Tracey.  Layback Cruiser, Kiss Your Lips and Meehan Marlow collided on the first turn checking Meehan Marlow.  Go Gem raced wide on the home turn.

Bodhi's Bro Kai was quick to begin.  Oscar The Scout was slow to begin.

Rebel May Road checked off Ripplebrook Glen in the front straight.  Rebel May Road contacted the running rail on the second turn.  Delancy Bale and Oscar The Scout collided in the back straight.  Ripplebrook Glen and Delancy Bale collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn.  Pine Gem raced wide on the home turn.

Rebel May Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Pine Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle, right tarsal sprain and a spike wound to the right front foot.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Maverick Sandy and Jordy's Express were slow to begin.

Maverick Sandy checked off Phil's My Bro on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Cat Noir and Ant Man collided on the first turn.  Cat Noir checked off Ant Man approaching the home turn. 

Star Gem and So Joe Mac collided soon after the start.  Free Kick Hawks checked off Nine Wine Wine approaching the first turn.  Free Kick Hawks checked off Our Blue Spolly on the home turn checking So Joe Mac.  Free Kick Hawks and So Joe Mac collided in the home straight.  

Pre-race samples were taken from Fast Talker and Koh Lipe.

Violation was quick to begin.  I'm The Greatest was slow to begin.

Koh Lipe contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Fast talker and Shaun John collided on the first turn.  Fast Talker shifted out approaching the home turn colliding with I'm The Greatest and Shaun John.  Mia's Hand checked off Aston Profit in the home straight.

My Girl Mel was quick to begin.

Mountain Goat checked off Midnight Breeze soon after the start.  My Girl Mel, Mystic Faith and Lady Elegance collided on the first turn checking Lady Elegance.  Mountain Goat and Midnight Breeze collided approaching the home turn.  Bus Driver and Mountain Goat collided on the home turn.  My Girl Mel and Mystic Faith collided entering the home straight.
