A pre-race sample was taken from Going Alright.

Double Dipping was slow to begin.

Mow A Meadow and Dundee Buzz collided soon after the start.  Going Alright and Dundee Topaz collided soon after the start checking Dundee Topaz.  Dundee Topaz checked off Double Dipping in the front straight.  Dundee Buzz checked off Mow A Meadow in the front straight.  Mow A Meadow and Double Dipping collided approaching the first turn. causing Double Dipping to race wide.  Mow A Meadow checked off Dundee Topaz on the first turn.  Going Alright and Breakaway Benji collided on the first turn.  Dundee Buzz checked off Double Dipping entering the back straight.  Mow A Meadow and Double Dipping collided on the home turn.  Dundee Topaz checked off Double Dipping entering the home straight. Going Alright raced erratically approaching the winning post checking Mow A Meadow.

Going Alright underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 5. No apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Steven Healey regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Healey, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
